Jyothi,
Is n't it gullibility that you mean?
As in it is being good to share your food with another, whether the other has enough to eat or not does not rob you of your goodness. To be gullible is to offer the food assuming that the other does not have enough food to eat,..
The difference is that goodness does not involve your own satisfaction, It is selfless,. It is a natural action that does not comprise of any force on your part, you dont force yourself to give up food,. But in the other case, you have forced yourself to give up food and you demand satisfaction for effort that you had to make.you feel gullible when you are cheated of your satisfaction,..
To be good is good :D , but to be gullible is not.
